Ultrasound

APS Medical Ultrasound Determines:

  • Gestational age
  • Cardiac activity
  • Viability
  • Projected due date

About 10-20% of known pregnancies end naturally in miscarriage.  An ultrasound can determine if your positive test means a developing pregnancy and what options are available to you.

Your Next Step…

A free and confidential limited obstetric ultrasound is available 6 weeks after your last period (LMP). This exam will give you more information, such as how many weeks pregnant you are (gestational age) and if there is a heartbeat (cardiac activity). Know with confidence what options to consider for your pregnancy. You are welcome to bring someone with you.

All ultrasound exams at APS Medical are performed by a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or a Registered Nurse trained in limited obstetric ultrasound. All exams are also read and interpreted by a licensed OB/GYN.
